Acne Introduction
Nearly all individuals during their teen years are affected to some extent by acne. Acne even affects some people well into adulthood, making it the most common type of skin condition. How long does the laser treatment take, and how many treatments will I need?
A typical acne laser treatment will take between 10 to 30 minutes, depending on the extent of the acne and the size of the area to be treated.
The entire treatment may require 4-6 sessions.
Is there any pain associated with the acne or acne scars laser treatment?
Because the laser's Dynamic Cooling Device is so effective, many patients report the procedure as "mild", with little more than a slight snapping or tingling sensation. Of course, pain is subjective, and topical anesthetics can be used if the patient wishes.
