Acne Introduction
Nearly all individuals during their teen years are affected to some extent by acne. Acne even affects some people well into adulthood, making it the most common type of skin condition. Acne affects both men and women and most commonly occurs on the face, neck, back, chest and upper arms. Although it is generally not considered a serious health condition, it may cause embarrassment and even scarring of the skin in severe cases. Even if you are affected by severe acne, there is good news! There are a variety of different treatment options available to treat acne that will help restore a smooth, healthy glow to your skin.
How long does the laser treatment take, and how many treatments will I need?
A typical acne laser treatment will take between 10 to 30 minutes, depending on the extent of the acne and the size of the area to be treated.
The entire treatment may require 4-6 sessions.
Is there any pain associated with the acne or acne scars laser treatment?
Because the laser's Dynamic Cooling Device is so effective, many patients report the procedure as "mild", with little more than a slight snapping or tingling sensation. Of course, pain is subjective, and topical anesthetics can be used if the patient wishes.
Laser Hair Removal. Intense pulsed light (IPL) laser hair removal is a permanent hair removal procedure, which uses heat to destroy the hair shaft or root of the hair.
